Flexibility is Great, but are Online Classes Right for Me?

Classrooms no longer are a grid of desks facing a chalk board in the front. Today’s classrooms have white boards, projectors, U-shaped seating, T-like seating, and the students themselves look much different. We believe anyone, at any age, anywhere, has the right to improve their skill set and make a career change. While many of our courses are offered in-person, we offer the majority of our courses online, in order to make them as accessible to the most people as possible. One of the first concerns you may have about pursing a course in cybersecurity, besides the complexity of the topic, is the way the topic is delivered. Online classes are a bit different from traditional face-to-face classes. That said, you don’t need to sacrifice interaction and quality content when enrolling in an online course.

  1. The content will be the same as that in the classroom. We offer content in a variety of mediums in order to appeal to a variety of learning types. Your selected program will be organized into courses with each course having associated videos, power points, quizzes, and assignments. Because the content is online, you will be able to review the information again and again whenever you have an internet connection.
  1. The flexibility of online classes can be your best friend… depending on your learning style. Flexibility means you need to be self-motivated and prepared to complete work on your own time. Online courses allow you to learn and review while on a bus, at a café, on your lunch break and at home. Most of our students have full time jobs and appreciate being able to turn commute time, into learning time. The platform has a calendar to allow you to view your program schedule and plan your time accordingly.

  2. Professors are readily available. You can easily message professors if you have doubts about assignments dates, content, or have comments about your progression in the course. Our technical staff is also available in case you run into glitches or have questions on how to use the system.

We won’t grow if you don’t grow. Our mission, is your mission. We want to see every one of our students gain the cyber knowledge they need in order to increase their cybersecurity skills set. We help you do that as best we can through our program structure and layout on the platform. We believe everyone can benefit from online learning if they go in with the right mind set and make the most of their time enrolled.
